The Isle of Wight Festival returned in September 2021 following a one year break. With 2020 being the year of strange global pandemics, the festival unsurprisingly cancelled and many of us wistfully looked forward to a time when things may start to resemble ‘normality’ again.
Ventnor Fringe Festival 2021 made a triumphant return following 2020’s lockdown-infused-hiatus. Entertaining all with a solid ensemble of theatre, spoken word, music, poetry and circus antics, the Fringe team lit up the town of Ventnor (our hometown) with gusto.
Keira and Sam were married in May 2021. They were unworried about the current Covid-19 restrictions as they had always planned a small, intimate wedding. The couple, as well as all of their family and friends, live in Worthing, but had chosen the Island for their wedding as it was where Sam had proposed.
Michael & Kaori were married during the ‘fifteen only’ phase of Covid weddings. They had their ceremony privately at the Isle of Wight registry office and celebrated with family at The Hambrough Hotel in Ventnor.
Tim and Amy always planned two weddings. A tiny registry office ceremony, with a huge party and humanist ceremony the next day. Therefore, when Covid-19 disrupted their plans for wedding two, wedding one was still a go!
