Stormy Skies
Keira and Sam’s pre-wedding shoot took place on a stormy Saturday in December 2020. We had planned to walk down to Steephill Cove, where Sam proposed. On the day however, it was pouring with rain. With the rain forecast to continue for the entire day, we decided to stay close to their apartment, The Cabin, on Ventnor Seafront. The expanse of winter sky provided a dramatic backdrop for the shoot and the rain held off long enough for us to get outside. When the skies opened again we headed back to their apartment for a final few photos.
Perfectly Intimate
Keira and Sam were married in May 2021. They were unworried about the current Covid-19 restrictions as they had always planned a small, intimate wedding. The couple, as well as all of their family and friends, live in Worthing, but had chosen the Island for their wedding as it was where Sam had proposed.
Their wedding took place at The Royal Hotel in Ventnor. Keira prepared for the ceremony with her daughter and ‘Best-Woman in the Bridal Suite’. She did her own make-up and enlisted the Style Sisters for all of their hair needs! Their wedding flowers incorporated the bride and groom’s favourite colours and her dress was elegant simplicity.
The room where their ceremony was held was styled beautifully by Wed & Prosper. Additionally, outside they had a stunning moon decoration from Little Luna Events. Their gorgeous flower wall was provided by Island Flower Walls and the ultra cool neon ‘at last’ sign by Neon Junki. Keira loves all things deco and the details of her day reflected this beautifully.
Originally we had planned to hold the couple’s pre-wedding shoot at Steephill Cove, where they got engaged, but inclement weather had prevented this. Luckily the weather on their wedding day was glorious, so we finally made it down there.
It was a wonderful day, full of joy and love. We wish the couple a fantastic life together. Always and forever.
