In Preparation

Vicki and Matt were married on a very chilly day in early March of 2022.  With nuptials to be held at The Royal Hotel, Vicki prepared in their Bridal suite alongside family and friends. Further along the coast, her husband to be was getting ready in a very creative location. Matt is a ceramacist with a studio at Binnel Bay. His friends and fellow artists Lisa and Lincoln have a stunning home in a renovated bunker close by and they offered this space to him for his wedding morning.

Once the Matt and his best man and woman were ready, they travelled the short distance to The Royal Hotel. Matt had hand made a hundred vases and candle holders for the day. These were part of the table decor as well favours for the lucky guests.

When Vicki wed Matt

The guest list for Vicki and Matt’s wedding was a who’s who of the Isle of Wight artistic scene. With over a hundred people in attendance for the ceremony, it was held in the larger room at The Royal. The service was short and very moving, a theme which carried over into the speeches. Matt’s best-woman and fellow ceramicist Sue, found her speech particularly emotional.

The happy couple, alongside their guests, partied into the evening. They were entertained by magician Huxley, Wight Harmony Barbershop Singers and the fantastic Pinstripe provided the music.
