Sophie & Ryan
Sophie and Ryan’s wedding took place during Easter weekend in 2022. Ryan is a Royal Marine who has postings all over the World. Throughout their long relationship, the couple have sent many prolonged periods apart and this enforced separation has served to bring them so close together.
Their wedding was held at the beautiful Landguard Manor on the Isle of Wight. The joys of spring were most definitely in the air!
Sophie and her bridal party had the bridal suite for their preparations, whilst Ryan and his crew enjoyed some time in the bar downstairs. They had a beautiful outdoor ceremony in the garden, surrounded by family and friends.
Raise your Glasses...
Following some champagne, the children set off an Easter Egg hunt around the grounds. Meanwhile we took advantage of the formal entrance to the house for some group photos and then I took a photo walk with the bride and groom. During the speeches, I learned that Royal Marines toast with Port, that even elite soldiers love bubbles and that the only people who can keep up with a celebrating Marine, are little kids!
Sophie and Ryan’s was a beautiful wedding, filled with love and joy. Thank you so much for having us capture your big day!
