Shelley, In Preparation
On her big day Shelley, her two daughters and best friend Louise began their preparations at Take Two hair salon in Newport. The women and girls had a lovely time being pampered and having their hair primped and perfected. The couple’s two daughters were incredibly excited that their Mummy and Daddy were to be married that day!
With hair set they strolled back to Louise’s house in Carisbrooke to complete their looks. Meanwhile Pete was busy meeting wedding guests at New Barn Farm. Guests were greeted with cool drinks served by The Events Co.
The wedding ceremony was performed in a cool, dark barn, where the two girls proceeded they Mother and Grandfather down the aisle. Their Father looked proud and emotional as his family approached.
Heatwave!
Shelley and Pete’s wedding took place during a long heatwave. It was hot! Having checked it turns out it was 32°C in the shade, it felt so much hotter! The sultry mood pervaded throughout the meal. The grown up enjoyed fans and cold drinks to help them cool down. The kids in the other hand shed their layers and broke out the water pistols!
As the day moved on and the heat of the Sun began to fade, the celebrations accelerated. The huge, glorious garden became a playground for all ages. Lawn games and tequila shots were enjoyed in the golden evening light. It was a stunning day.
