A Duver Wedding

Katie & Jimmy were married on an unseasonably sunny day in April. I was privileged to be there to capture the beauty & romance of the day.

Their big day began  at  Holy Trinity Church in Bembridge, on the Isle of Wight. It was attended by a wealth of the couple’s family and friends. The groom, Jimmy, was looking nervous but was well looked after by his three best men. Katie arrived in a vintage wedding car and looked stunning in white, she was accompanied by three adult bridesmaids as well as the couple’s two beautiful daughters.

Departing from the Village of Bembridge, the wedding party moved down the road to St Helen’s Duver for the reception. A white marquee backed by sparkling seas greeted the newly weds on their arrival.  Guests were treated to an afternoon picnic featuring local and artisanal foods, whilst enjoying the fabulous views.

Katie and Jimmy requested no posed photos throughout the day, so this wedding is in a documentary style
