Straight Outta Compton
Sophie & Ryan have been a couple for many years and will be wed on Easter Saturday this year. Ryan is a Royal Marine and stationed over-seas for most of the year. He and Sophie always make the most of his visits home and on his last visit, we managed to find the time to squeeze in their pre-wedding shoot at Compton Bay.
The couple were a little nervous about being photographed, as many of our couples are. It’s one of the reasons why pre-wedding shoots are so valuable. We decided to have a wander along the most famous of the Island’s West Coast beaches as golden hour approached.
I used a long lens to give the couple a little space and soon they forgot all about me. By the time the shoot was over, they were feeling much more relaxed and confident about the photos we will be taking at their wedding. They are a beautiful couple and I’m really looking forward to it!
