Bianka by the Sea
Shortly after their pre-wedding shoot, Bianka and Edmund returned to the UK for their wedding day. Following on from her love of the Sea, Bianka chose to get ready at the gorgeous Wellington Hotel in Ventnor. Her closest friends helped with her make-up on her sunny, sea facing balcony, before she walked down to Scott’s for hair styling.
Bianka and Ed were married at St Mary’s Church in Brighstone, Ed’s home village. During a beautiful, candle-lit ceremony, their Vicar serenaded them with opera. A good friend of the family picked up the couple in his vintage car. Their guests strolled the short distance to Ed’s family home.
The Bay & The Garden
After their wedding ceremony, friends & family were invited to a reception in the garden of the groom’s parents. The front garden hosted The Brighstone Barnacles. Guests had a fantastic time dancing and singing to traditional sea shanties, whist sipping champagne and feasting ice-cream. The ice-cream cart and wedding breakfast were provided by the masterful Events Co.
Whilst guests enjoyed the hospitality at the reception, we snuck away to Freshwater Bay for a romantic moment by the sea. Later, the groom and his football team from Madrid enjoyed a game of keep-uppy, alongside casual games of croquet and a US vs UK game of throw the bean-bag in the hole!
Evening brought feating and fun in a marquee behind the house. Golden hour light flooded the back garden and guests partied into the night.
