The couple were married in the Durbar Room which was designed by Rudyard Kipling’s father, Lockwood Kipling, and master carver Bhai Ram Singh. They were the first couple to have been married in that room for 3 years! They may possibly be the last as the Royal collection housed there is considered to be too easily damaged.
Although Sarah and Tom live elsewhere, they chose to get married on the Isle of Wight in part because of Sarah’s love for the sea. Tom’s father and step-mother live in the pretty hamlet of St Lawrence and the couple always love their trips to visit them.
When her Mother Barbara turned 80, Nikki Douglas-Drake commissioned us to take some family photos. The photoshoot took place during a family gathering at the fantastic Royal Hotel in Ventnor.
Ventnor Fringe Festival 2021 made a triumphant return following 2020’s lockdown-infused-hiatus. Entertaining all with a solid ensemble of theatre, spoken word, music, poetry and circus antics, the Fringe team lit up the town of Ventnor (our hometown) with gusto.
During spring 2021, Steve decided that it was time to leave Ventnor and return to live in Thailand where he had previously travelled.
During May 2021 we were given the opportunity to photograph the golden wedding anniversary celebrations of Mr and Mrs Molyneux and their family.
Soap Me Up is a fairly new Isle of Wight company, run by a wonderful woman named Janna. Janna creates bespoke, eco-friendly and completely gorgeous smelling bath products.
Ventnor Fringe Festival takes place every August. The little seaside town of Ventnor becomes a vibrant , buzzing place. Music pours out from venues all over town, from the Harbourside Bar on the seafront, to Parkside high above.
Andrea Black-Thompson arranged a photo shoot for her extended family when they visited the Island on a trip. We met on Ventnor Beach on an overcast day. The family all wore gorgeous colours which showed up vividly against the grey skies. We spent the first part of the shoot concentrating on full family and smaller group photos.
