The couple were married in the Durbar Room which was designed by Rudyard Kipling’s father, Lockwood Kipling, and master carver Bhai Ram Singh. They were the first couple to have been married in that room for 3 years! They may possibly be the last as the Royal collection housed there is considered to be too easily damaged.

Pam & Jon’s wedding took place under a the cloud of 2020’s Covid-19 restrictions. They had decided early on in the year that they wanted to go ahead with their nuptials regardless. Nevertheless the days preceding the wedding were on a knife edge, with the rules set to change again at any time. Fortunately, Pam & Jon’s wedding was able to go ahead with a maximum of 30 people in attendance.
