Ahoy!
Ventnor Carnival is the oldest of the Isle of Wight’s many annual parades. It is traditionally quite a raucous event and draws the biggest crowds all year. Floats from all over the Island come to circumnavigate the town. Pirates rub shoulders with Carnival Queens and the Ventnor Comic Jazz Band provides the sometimes wobbly soundtrack.
