Rhythmtree is a beautiful family festival held each year at Three Gates Farm in Calbourne. Over the years that we have been photographing it, the event has grown and evolved, but has remained very safe and welcoming. With Kidzone situated within viewing distance of the main stage, parents can enjoy the music whilst watching over playing children. There is so much for kids to do here!  As well as Kidzone, there is a pirate ship stage especially for them, a fantastically vibrant parade and, in the woods, they will find mud kitchens, axe throwing and climbing nets. For the adults there are cocktail bars deep in the forest, incredible live acts and a healing area complete with yoga and massage.

Music at Rhythmtree is eclectic. Local island bands rub shoulders with acts from around the globe on the main stage and in the Didj Cafe. Headliners have included Morcheeba, Robert Plant and The Stereo MCs, whilst the afternoon sounds have more of a World vibe. We were treated to the London African Gospel Choir performing Paul Simon’s Graceland and a cuban band played Buena Vista for the crowd.
