The couple, as well as all of their family and friends, live in Worthing, but had chosen the Island for their wedding as it was where Sam had proposed.

By the time of our second visit, the renovation was complete, with a sea theme complete with origami whales and copies of Jonathan Livingston Seagull in every room.

Pam & Jon’s wedding took place under a the cloud of 2020’s Covid-19 restrictions. They had decided early on in the year that they wanted to go ahead with their nuptials regardless. Nevertheless the days preceding the wedding were on a knife edge, with the rules set to change again at any time. Fortunately, Pam & Jon’s wedding was able to go ahead with a maximum of 30 people in attendance.
