Laura and Edd were married in Greece and then had a ceremony and party back in the UK. The ceremony was officiated by a relative and took place at Rookley Country Park. It was a hot Summer day and the cornflower blue skies complemented the colour scheme perfectly.
I met Gillian and David for their pre-wedding shoot at the very Southern tip of the Isle of Wight. Castle Haven is a tiny cove in Niton and a short walk away, St Catherine’s Lighthouse stands on the cliff edge. We met first in a sheltered spot, joined by their young son.
Emma and Ton met several years ago whilst surfing at Compton Bay. Compton is a favourite amongst Isle of Wight surfers and is part of an expanse of sandy beaches that stretch along the entire South West Coast of the Island.
I have known Alex, Lindsey & their beautiful family for a few years now. I met them through my work as an event photographer as Alex is a member of the reggae band The Ohmz; whom I have photographed on many occasions. Alex contacted me in June to find out when I was free for some photos and wouldn’t tell me why! I was intrigued!
Their big day began at Holy Trinity Church in Bembridge, on the Isle of Wight. It was attended by a wealth of the couple’s family and friends. The groom, Jimmy, was looking nervous but was well looked after by his three best men. Katie arrived in a vintage wedding car and looked stunning in white, she was accompanied by three adult bridesmaids as well as the couple’s two beautiful daughters.
Matt & Dan chose to get married at East Dene, a beautiful Georgian manor house, in Bonchurch on the Isle of Wight. It was a beautiful spring day and light flowed into the ceremony room through the conservatory. The ceremony was romantic and emotional, with readings from close friends and family.
Kate and Tom were married at the beautiful Apple Farm in Afton. Theirs was my first wedding as an official photographer and it was brilliant fun. The couple opted to forgo a pre-wedding shoot and were looking for relaxed, reportage style photos.
My cousin Jessica got married to James in the Lake District. I had never been to the Lakes before and was stunned by the magnificence of the scenery. We stayed in a pretty little Youth Hostel close to the Hotel were the wedding was taking place.
