Gillian and David booked me to photograph their wedding through the Ventnor Botanic Garden Wedding Fair. We met up on a grey day in April at Castle Haven in Niton on the Isle of Wight for their pre-wedding shoot. In spite of the inclement weather, their love shone through and the pair looked radiant.
Their wedding took place in early June, before the heat wave. Gillian and her bridesmaids got ready at her family home in Whitwell. The house was just yards away from the church where they exchanged their vows and became man and wife. The church was beautifully decorated and the ceremony sweet and romantic.
The ceremony was followed by drinks in her Dad’s garden, followed by a stunning reception at Albert Cottage in East Cowes. We stopped off along the way to take a few newly-wed shots on the clifftops at Blackgang viewpoint.
It was a really beautiful day and I would like to thank both Gillian and David for choosing me as their wedding photographer. I had a fantastic time. x
