At the end of July 2018, Laura and her husband Dan had their daughter Isabella christened. I went along to document the day for them and had a great (and also very cute) time.
Isabella was christened at St Blasius Church in Shanklin on the Isle of Wight. Family and friends accompanied Laura and Dan. Most noteworthy were the special individuals chosen to serve as God-Parents to baby Isabella. The ceremony took place as part of the traditional Sunday Service at the church, hence the regular congregation joined family and friends in celebration of the infant. Baby was serene throughout, happy even when the holy water poured onto her head.
The post-christening celebration took place at the family’s elegant home. The food and decor was simple and could have been straight out of a Lifestyle Magazine. The cake in particular was a work of art.Champagne and cake was served as everyone gathered in honour of one of the World’s new people.
